Al Jazeera well known Latin America Reporter Dima Khatib Tweetup was held at Landmark Amman in 28 May 2012. During this event, Tweeps took the opportunity to discuss political and social changes in the Arab world with Dima (who is the Chief Correspondent of Al Jazeera in Latin America reporter in ALJazeera). Dima also gave a brief about the situation in the Latin America especially Venezuela.

For REACH-ers, nothing was as special as the moment REACH2.0 celebrated its second anniversary; a moment that shows how much we have grown and how much we will grow in the years to come. A name that is growing and a squad that is becoming a family day in, day out.

We celebrated our second anniversary at Za3tar wi Zeit restaurant. It was a fun evening with lots of food.

REACH 2.0 and in cooperation with Ms. Lara Al Safadi of Badya Transmedia, a 5 days training course was conducted for Adaleh Center for Human Rights in Amman, Jordan. The training included film making and video blogging for social activists and law students. The training also included how to optimize social media to promote the films that will be produced after the completion of the course.

REACH 2.0 has organized the first Tweetup for Ernst & Young – Jordan. The purpose of the Tweetup is to highlight the candidates of the Entrepreneur of the Year contest that will be held in May. Each candidate spoke about their journey with their company. Bloggers and Tweeps attended the event. The event was concluded by announcing the two winners of the Facebook competition.
